Purpose
Strong sound absorbing and flexible polyether foam for acoustic use in technical applications. Creates an improvement in room acoustics by absorbing noise via reduction of the reverberation time.
B028 the best absorbing flexible polyurethane foam in our range. The unwanted noise penetrates the material very easily and only a very small part of the noise is reflected back.
You can choose whether you want whole sheets or B6 cut to your measurements.
Areas of application
The material is mainly used as an acoustic cladding in driver's cabs, engine rooms, compressors, generators, fans, turbines, pumps or similar. You are free to choose which surface you want laminated on the foam, as well as any adhesive types.
Alternatives
If you are looking for an acoustic material that can withstand UV, we recommend our C033 (polyester). If you want a foam with higher fire requirements, we can offer our C035 (polyester).
