Comprex RE80-RE230

Purpose

B6 Comprex foam is an effective sound absorber that is also environmentally friendly (recycled foam).

Material:

B6 Comprex foam is manufactured as a regenerated polyether material (also called bonded foam). The material has good soundproofing properties, as well as sound absorbing properties. B6 Comprex foam is manufactured under high pressure and through this special process, foam materials with high densities from 80 - 230 kg/m3 can be created.

Flexibility in focus:

You are free to choose whether you want whole sheets delivered, or whether B6 should cut to your unique dimensions.

Areas of application

The material is mainly used as an acoustic cladding in driver's cabs, engine rooms, compressors, generators, fans, turbines, pumps or similar. You are free to choose which surface you want on the laminated foam, as well as which type of adhesive, if any.

If the product is to be installed in particularly humid environments, we can also offer to apply a special edge seal.

Alternatives

B6 Comprex is a classic material for soundproofing. If instead you want a material that absorbs sound even better, we can recommend our flexfoam B028, or simply use B6 Comprex with the lowest density (RE80).

If you want a Comprex material with better fire properties, we can recommend a RE100X (Isoflok).
